Perfect Fit & No-Drill BlindsSnap-In Frames For uPVC Windows & DoorsFitted Without Damaging The Frame

Landlord-friendly, tenant-friendly, warranty-safe. Fitted in one visit, removable in five minutes.
What it is, who it's for, and why it matters
What it is
Perfect Fit blinds use a slim aluminium frame that clips between the glass-retaining rubber bead and the uPVC sash. The blind itself, pleated, Venetian, or roller, sits inside the frame and moves with the window. No fixings into the frame, no holes, no damage.
Who it's for
Owners of uPVC windows and doors. Critical for: rental properties (landlord won't allow drilling), new-build estates (drilling voids the manufacturer warranty), French and patio doors (drilling the frame is structurally inadvisable), conservatories (every uPVC pane plus the roof if needed).
When to specify it
When you want a blind on a uPVC window and either (a) cannot drill the frame, (b) do not want screws on display, or (c) need the blind to move with the sash so the view is unobstructed when the window opens.
Why professional matters
A drilled-on blind on a uPVC tilt-and-turn requires re-positioning every time the window opens. A Perfect Fit moves with the window, the blind opens with the window, the view is fully clear when ventilating, and the seal is preserved.
Get the spec wrong and it costs you more than the original install
uPVC blinds go wrong in the same ways every time.
Real risks if ignored
- Drilling a uPVC frame can pierce the internal chambers and void the window manufacturer's 10-year guarantee.
- Tenant-installed screws are a recoverable deduction from deposit at end of tenancy, at retail repair cost.
- Cheap stick-on holders fail in summer heat and the blind drops onto the sill.
- Standard blinds on tilt-and-turn windows physically block the window from opening.
Common spec mistakes
- Buying a 'no-drill' blind that relies on adhesive only, adhesion fails on warm uPVC.
- Ordering Perfect Fit to glass size, the correct measurement is the rubber bead opening, not the glazed area.
- Choosing a deep blind for a slim sash, fingers get pinched when closing the window.
- Forgetting to confirm that the window is genuinely uPVC and has a rubber gasket bead (some older systems are dry-glazed and incompatible).
We confirm window construction at survey, measure the gasket opening (not the glass), and recommend the correct blind type for the sash depth. Installs take 20–30 minutes per window and are completely reversible.
Five stages, one person, no handovers
- 01
Window Survey
We confirm the window type (must have a rubber gasket bead), measure the gasket opening to the millimetre, and recommend pleated, Venetian or roller based on sash depth and operation type.
- 02
Frame & Fabric Choice
Frame colour matched to the window (white, anthracite grey, woodgrain). Fabric or slat decision based on light, privacy and aesthetic needs.
- 03
Manufacture
Frames cut to ±1mm and corners pre-mitred. Typical lead time 2 weeks.
- 04
Snap-In Install
Single visit. 20–30 minutes per window. No drilling. We test the window opens fully with the blind in place before sign-off.
- 05
Removable Any Time
Five-minute removal for redecoration, window cleaning or moving home. We supply written removal instructions.
Specific outcomes, not vague promises
No Damage To The Frame
Zero fixings into the uPVC. Window manufacturer warranty stays intact.
Tenant & Landlord Friendly
No deposit deductions. No 'you can't drill the windows' arguments. Completely reversible.
Blind Moves With The Window
Tilt-and-turn windows open fully with the blind in place, no need to raise the blind to ventilate.
Slim, Discreet Frame
10mm slim aluminium frame, matched to your window colour, barely visible against the sash.
Three Blind Types In One Frame
Pleated, Venetian or roller, all available in the Perfect Fit system.
Child-Safe
No cords, no chains. The blind is operated by a wand or by hand. BS EN 13120 compliant by design.
Materials, methods and variations
Everything we'd cover with you on a 45-minute survey, written down so you can read it in your own time before booking.
Pleated Perfect Fit
Concertina-pleated fabric stacks tight to top or bottom. Excellent thermal performance, the air trapped in the pleats acts as insulation. Available in blackout, day/night, and energy-saving thermal fabrics.
Venetian Perfect Fit
16mm or 25mm aluminium slats inside the frame. Tilt control by wand. Ideal for kitchens and bathrooms where wipe-clean is required.
Roller Perfect Fit
Standard roller fabric on a slim tube inside the frame. Light-filtering or blackout. Useful when you want a clean fabric face without slats or pleats.
Window Compatibility
Works on any uPVC window or door with a rubber glazing gasket (the soft rubber strip that holds the glass in place). Does not work on aluminium windows without a gasket, on timber windows, or on dry-glazed uPVC. We confirm at survey.
Conservatory Specification
Perfect Fit pleated is the system of choice for conservatories, every pane gets its own blind, all matched in colour and operation. Specify reflective thermal fabric for west-facing conservatories where solar gain is a problem.
French & Patio Door Specification
On in-swing French doors the blind must clear the door handle, we account for this at survey. On bi-fold doors specify lightweight pleated only, anything heavier prevents the doors stacking cleanly.
Honest answers, the ones we give on the doorstep
Will Perfect Fit damage my uPVC window?
No, that is precisely the point. The frame clips between the rubber glazing gasket and the sash, with zero fixings. Removal is non-destructive.
Will it work on my window?
It works on any uPVC window or door with a rubber glazing gasket. We confirm compatibility on a 5-minute survey before quoting.
How long does installation take?
20–30 minutes per window. A typical 6-window order is fitted in one morning.
Can I take them with me when I move?
Yes, five-minute removal, take them off the window, take them to your new home. Provided the new window is the same opening dimension.
How much do they cost?
Perfect Fit blinds from approximately £120 per window fitted (pleated, Venetian or roller). Conservatory packs of 8+ windows discounted.
Are they child-safe?
Yes, wand-operated or hand-operated, no cords, BS EN 13120 compliant by design.
Do they block heat in a conservatory?
Pleated Perfect Fit with reflective thermal fabric reduces conservatory solar gain by up to 78% (manufacturer tested). It is the most effective single intervention for a hot conservatory.
Can I have them on bi-fold doors?
Yes, pleated only, anything heavier prevents the doors from stacking cleanly when fully opened.
